Anemoi

Eos came to me in a dream

Bedecked in Helios’ light

To transpose the Eve to the Dawn

And disperse the shadows of Night

Borne by her winged steeds

And to my bed where I lay in peace

She silently, softly, drew to me

And this she whispered against my cheek:

‘Come away with me to the Hall of the Gods

‘Where Grace and Beauty await.

‘Where the Muses sing for all the world

‘And Ambrosia floweth from your plate.

‘Where Youth and Passion await thee

‘From all the love I’ll bring.’

And She took my hand

And off we flew carried by the breath of the Wind.

Love this. Very lyrical. (I’d wax more poetic, but my timer dinged and I have to wash the Garnier hair dye out.)

Kirizar, I’m beginning to find that half my enjoyment from writing comes after reading your comments. Thank you, as always, for taking the time to read and respond.
